CLOWN WORKSHOP
Master Clown Michael Kennard of Mump and Smoot led a dynamic 'Intro to Baby Clown' workshop in April 2006.  Based on the Pochinko technique, we did group explorations, games and exercises that led students into the clown world, where they donned noses and hats to help them discover their individual clowns.

G.I.G (The Getting in Group) engaged six artists under the leadership of David Skelton on a six month journey to experience  and respond to  notions of 'Exclusion' and  'Getting In' -  - physically, emotionally and theatrically - using the physical limitations of the Theatre Centre in Toronto as a site and point of departure.

VOCAL WORKSHOP
Vocalist Fides Krucker led an elemental workshop in August 2006 to explore voice as the central instrument in creation.  Artists used breath, bodywork, sound and song to access their inner and outer voices. Individual and group experiments created moments of revelation, musicality and vocal enlightenment.

SCENE STUDY
Directors/performers Kate Lynch and Mark Christmann offered an in-depth examination of the play The Dispute by 18th century French playwright Phillipe Marivaux, to unlock its secrets and physicalize its text, characters and staging together with eight accomplished performers. A final presentation mapped the essential points of discovery and paved the way for future development of the piece.
